Bowl of baked and glazed honey butter biscuit bites.

Honey Butter Biscuit Bites

Honey butter biscuit bites are made from canned biscuits and finished with a honey-butter glaze. These compete with glazed doughnut holes for a special treat.

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Servings 36 biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-count can) flaky-style biscuits (16 ounce can)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons milk, plus more as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Open biscuit can and seperate biscuits. Cut each biscuit into four pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place onto prepared baking sheet.

  3. Bake until biscuits are golden brown, about 15 minutes. They spread during baking and don't stay round. This is normal.

  4. While biscuits bake, prepare the glaze. Whisk together powdered sugar and cinnamon. Add the honey, melted butter, and milk. The glaze should fall easily from a spoon. If it seems thick, add additional milk, one teaspoon at a time.

  5. Remove biscuits from oven and allow to cool for five minutes. If you want, break them in half. Flaky biscuits break in half easily. Place the biscuits into a large bowl. While they are still warm, pour the glaze over the biscuits. Use a rubber spatula or wooden spoon and stir to coat the biscuits.

  6. Spread glazed biscuits onto parchment-lined baking sheet. Seperate to keep the biscuits from sticking together. Allow the glaze to harden, about 30 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl.

  7. Honey butter biscuit bites are best enjoyed the day they are made. If you have leftovers, store them covered on the counter for one day.
