Garlic bread slices in an air fyer.

Air Fryer Garlic Bread Recipe

You can make restaurant-style garlic bread in your air fryer in just minutes. The bread gets crispy on the outside and stays moist and tender in the center. But the best part is the garlicky, buttery topping.

Total Time 11 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup softened butter (4 ounces; 113 grams)
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced, see note 1
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (1 ounce; 28 grams)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound soft French or Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350℉.

  2. Mix the softened butter together with the garlic, parsley, Parmesan, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter evenly over both sides of the bread.
  4. Cut the bread into pieces that will fit onto your air fryer tray.

  5. Place the bread onto the air fryer try or basket. Air fry until brown and crisp, about 6 minutes. Repeat with remaining bread.
  6. Remove the bread from the air fryer. Place onto a cutting board. Cut into individual pieces, if needed.

Recipe Notes

Note 1: Replace the fresh garlic with 2 teaspoons jared garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder.

Cheesy Bread Variation: Top the bread with shredded mozzarella, provolone or Cheddar cheese.

How to Store and Reheat Leftovers. Store leftovers wrapped on the counter for up to two days. Reheat in the air fryer at 325℉ for about three minutes.
