If you love a sweet and salty dessert, these peanut butter cup and pretzel cookie bites are for you!

Peanut butter cup and pretzel cookie bites.

Cookie bites are one of my favorite things to make. You simply pop chocolate chip cookie dough, either homemade or store bought, into a greased mini-muffin pan. Then you bake the cookies and top them with something delicious. In this case, a peanut butter cup and mini-pretzel.

Tips for Making Perfect Cookie Bites

    • Grease the mini-muffin pan. These love to stick. So it’s important to grease your pan really well.
    • Remember to unwrap your peanut butter cups! A few folks have forgotten this important step.
    • Press the peanut butter cup and pretzel in after baking. As soon as you remove the pan from the oven, press the peanut butter cup into the hot cookie. After filling all the cookies, top with the pretzels.

Peanut Butter Cup Pretzel Cookie Bites

Chocolate chip cookie bites topped with a peanut butter cup and mini pretzels are a sweet and salty dream!

    Prep Time 5 minutes
    Cook Time 12 minutes
    Total Time 17 minutes
    Servings 24 cookies

    Ingredients

    • 1 (24 count) package chocolate chip cookie dough
    • 24 unwrapped mini peanut butter cups
    • 24 mini pretzels

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a mini muffin pan generously with nonstick cooking spray.
    2. Place one cookie dough piece (or about 1 tablespoon chocolate chip cookie dough) into each mini muffin cavity.
    3. Bake until cookies are golden brown, about 12 to 14 minutes.

    4. As soon as you remove the pan from the oven, carefully press a peanut butter cup into the cookie. Then top with a mini pretzel.
    5. Let the cookies cool in the pan for about 15 minutes. If you try to remove the cookies too soon, they can break. Remove cookies from the pan and enjoy. Store wrapped at room temperature for up to five days.
